FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL’S OFFICE

Dear FA Community Member,

As you know, we as a school depend upon a fully supported missionary staff to make the school happen. This is at the core of our being and was reaffirmed by the Strategic Planning Team last year. This means that each year we have a cycle of staff coming and going as people go on home assignment, finish their term of commitment or transfer to another field. Even though this school year has just begun we are already in the necessary process of looking at our projected staff needs for the 2018-2019 school year.

At this point, there are some significant needs looming on the horizon, especially in the elementary portion of the school. Something new this year that we are praying will make a big difference with this process are our five recruiters, working long-distance on our behalf. It would be excellent if you would pray for them as they look for ways to promote the needs of Faith Academy and prick the hearts and minds of potential staff. For those who like to use names when praying, here are the first names of those helping us with recruiting: Don, Val, Vangie, Anne and Jim.

Here are a couple more critical pieces you could also pray for. We are in the process of trying to start up a 501(c)(3) in the United States. This would allow donors in the US to contribute to Faith Academy and receive a tax benefit for doing that. The sooner we can get this up and running the better. Locally we are in the process of applying for our donee status so that people could partner with us in their giving locally and receive a tax benefit from doing so. These are both timely and vital for the school. Please pray.

Thank you for the privilege of partnering with you,

Tom Hardeman

Head of School

“Oh, the depth of the riches,

Both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!

How unsearchable are His judgments

And His ways past finding out!”

As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways
