FA Community Bulletin – December 5, 2018

FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL’S OFFICE

Dear Faith Academy Community Member,

Thank you for your continued prayers for the progress of our EIIC bill (Educational Institute of International Character).  God has brought us this far, prompting the likes of Congressman Lanate to sponsor us and move us forward.  We are asking for another miracle for the bill to move through the next two readings and any committee hearings that need to take place and to be fully approved by Congress as soon as possible so that it can be passed along to the President to be signed.

The Middle School will be presenting their Christmas Concert this Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Cadd Theatre.  Come on out and support our middle school program and enjoy the music of the season.

There have been many staff members and students who have come down with flu-like symptoms or who are just not feeling well. As we push towards this final crunch when all of the projects come due, papers to be turned in and final exams to be taken, please pray for strength, stamina, and grace to finish the semester well.

The staffing needs for the 2019 – 2020 school year are already stacking up with many staff going on home assignment or leaving for other posts.  Please be in prayer with us for God to bring the people we need to fully run our school.  One of the best ways staffing happens is through word of mouth.  Would you please pass along the need to family, churches, and friends back home?  God is indeed our Provider, but He requires us to be willing to do our part in the process.  Pray. Share. Believe.

Serving with you,

Tom Hardeman

Head of School

“Come, Thou Fount of every blessing,
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for songs of loudest praise.”

But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.

Psalm 103:1 (ESV)
