FA Community Bulletin – November 14, 2018

In This Issue:

FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL’S OFFICE

Dear Faith Academy Community Member,

Our EIIC (Educational Institute of International Character) Bill has been submitted to Congress! This is excellent news. However, there is a time factor involved now. Please join us in praying for grace that it will be duly process and passed through the House in a timely manner prior to the election period. If not, we will have to start all over again with both the Senate and the House once the all the elections are completed. Please pray with us!

Attention families of private drivers: We are still working through the logistics of how to respond to the private drivers parking situation. You have not been forgotten if this is your driving need. Hopefully, an announcement will be coming as soon.

This Friday, November 16 there is a Community Picnic taking place from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. This is a low-key event designed to encourage fun and fellowship…it will be more fun and will increase the fellowship IF you come! 🙂  Everyone is bringing their own food and blanket to spread on the grass to eat on the Elementary Field. We will also be lead by the Gloryfall Band in singing songs of praise and worship.  After the Community Picnic there is a special Thanksgiving Concert happening in Cadd Theatre. This is a free performance by several professors for music from Korea. Come join us for one or both of these events on Friday! See you there!

For those who were able to come and see the production of “All My Sons” last week, what an amazing job our students did! Kudos to the drama class and all those involved. It was not an easy play to watch as it grappled with some heavy issues. Speaking of drama, are you ready to shift emotional gears? Next week, on November 21, 23 and 24, the drama classes will perform “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”. This production will be presented in Tipunan Hall. If it is like the last two performances all three shows will be sold out, so get your tickets early. J

Serving together,

Tom Hardeman

METRO MANILA CELEBRATION  with WILL GRAHAM

A special presentation of the Metro Manila Celebration with Will Graham

Faith Academy Meeting Hall, Tuesday, November 20, 2018 @ 1:45 p.m.

Guest Presenter:  Director Jeffrey Ferris

“Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!

O what a foretaste of glory divine!

Heir of salvation, purchase of God,

Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood”

And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.

The one who keeps God’s commands lives in Him, and He in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us:  We know it by the Spirit he gave us.   1 John 3:19-24
