FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL’S OFFICE

Dear Faith Academy Community Member,

Many of our administrators are spending this week at an EARCOS (East Asia Regional Council of Schools) Conference taking place in Kota Kinabalu. This is an excellent setting for gleaning ideas and increasing understanding with over 1,000 delegates attending from around the region. There will be a large selection of high-quality speakers and presenters for them to choose from, as well as times for synergistic engagement with fellow administrators.  Please pray for a great experience and good take-aways for our five in attendance.  Pray also for those left in charge back here at Faith Academy in the absence of the administrators.

Todd and Miriam Eichenauer are currently in the US representing Faith Academy in job fairs and other settings looking for staff as well as financial support for the school.  They will return this weekend and then Todd will turn around in just a couple days and head out for a trip to Korea to meet with church leaders to discuss potential support for staff and school projects.  Please be in prayer for these meetings and for safety in travel.

Don’t forget there are NO classes this Friday, November 1 in observance of the local holidays. Enjoy the long weekend!

Serving together,

Tom Hardeman

Head of School

ANGEL TREE PROJECT

Every Christmas there are children who wake up to find that they did not receive any presents. But this Christmas, you have the opportunity to make a difference in a child’s life here in the Valley Golf Community, just down the road from Faith Academy. The Angel Tree Project provides gifts for 400 kids every Christmas season. You can be apart of this. Just go to the High School Office and pick up a tag from the Christmas Tree for what age and gender you want to buy a gift for. One tag is for one gift to one child, so don’t hesitate to take more! All gifts are due to the High School Office by Friday, November 15th.

You don’t have to have wings to be an angel!

TUESDAY PRAYING PARENTS

Come and experience the joy of praying together for our school and our kids! 7:15-8:30 am every Tuesday morning in the Tipunan Prayer Room. If you are free, we would love you to join us!

“Fairest Lord Jesus, Ruler of all nature,
O Thou of God and man the Son,
Thee will I cherish, Thee will I honor,
Thou, my soul’s glory, joy, and crown.”
