FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL’S OFFICE

Dear Faith Academy Community member,

We are nearing the end of the first quarter. Students will have projects to finish up and tests to be taken, etc.  Parent-teacher conferences are on the calendar next week for elementary, middle and high school. It’s a busy time right before we enter break the following week. Please keep the students and teachers in your prayers. And continue to pray for health in our community.

A change is being made in our region by the telephone company. We are moving up to using eight digits instead of seven. Starting Oct 7 our new phone number as a school will have an 8 in front and will read 8651 – 7100. Please note the change in your records.

Serving with you,

Tom Hardeman

AP EXAMS

“The deadline to register for AP exams was advanced by College Board this year so that we need to register all students by October 5. Any students outside Faith Academy, such as homeschoolers, must contact Linda Gocon, our AP Coordinator, as soon as possible in order to register. Please disseminate this information to families you may know.”

NEWS FROM THE ADVANCEMENT DEPARTMENT

On behalf of the Faith Academy Administration, the Advancement Department will be hosting a meeting for consideration of a new Faith Academy Parking Structure located next to the Aquatics Facility to improve our traffic flow.  The meeting will be held Thursday, October 3 right after school in Cadd 119 Conference Room (facing Dorm 3). This day is a Parent-Teacher Conference Day for ESD and MSD and the HSD Opening Concert begins at 6:00 pm. The meeting will begin at 2:45 with light refreshments. All interested Faith Academy families are encouraged to attend.

TUESDAY PRAYER TIME

Come and experience the joy of praying together for our school and our kids! 7:15-8:30 am every Tuesday morning in the Tipunan prayer room.

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.  Colossians 3:15 (ESV)
