Dear Faith Academy Community Member,
Our middle school is out at Rizal Re-Creation this week, enjoying our annual outdoor education experience. Please pray for the Lord to use this time in significant ways in the lives of our students and staff.
This week we are hosting the Asia Christian School Conference Basketball tournament. This year is a bit unusual as we are hosting both the girls’ tournament as well as the boys’. This is due to the difficulty of hosting or participating for the teams closer to China. With the issues connected to the novel coronavirus three of our schools have had to pull out of the tournament this year and one was not allowed entry to the Philippines. However, we will still have the following teams:
Boys Tournament –
Girls Tournament –
Some local schools will be added to the tournament to help fill out the rosters. We pray this will be a tournament honoring to the Lord and a fun culminating event for our athletes.
Serving together,
Tom Hardeman
Head of School

Elementary will be celebrating International Week from February 24-28, 2020.
Our theme this year is “That ALL may open the Bible and move towards the LIGHT”
We will be focusing on the work of Bible translation and the difference it makes to have God’s Word in your own language.
As part of this celebration, we will be having a display of Bibles in different languages in the elementary library. If you have a Bible translated in a language other than English, and would be willing to lend it to us, please drop it off in the ESD office or in the Library with your name attached to it. We will take good care of all Bibles and return them to you after the week is finished. It would be great to have the Bibles by Friday, February 21.
Thanks for your help!
Join us for a special block screening of the movie, KAIBIGAN, on February 20 at 3 pm, February 21 at 5 pm, and February 22 at 1 pm in Tipunan Hall. Ticket prices are P150 for adults and P100 for students. (Tickets sold in the Business Office or at the door).
There will be a special appearance of the Perkins twins, who star in the film. Popcorn and snacks will be sold outside Tipunan, and there will be special raffle prizes, including a laptop, power banks, and more!
Bring a blanket or pillows and enjoy an inside “lawn” movie-watching experience!
All proceeds will benefit the 2020 ACSC Honor Choir Festival trip to Taiwan.
“My chains are gone, I’ve been set free
My God, my Savior has ransomed me
And like a flood His mercy reigns
Unending love, amazing grace”
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions”
