Accreditation and Academic Standards

Faith Academy is officially recognized by the Philippine Department of Education as an American International School. This allows the school to accept students who meet the requirements, regardless of nationality or passport, and that a Faith Academy diploma is recognized for application to Philippine universities and colleges.

Faith Academy is accredited through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). The school is evaluated by these bodies every three years. The process of accreditation is a result of intensive work that synthesizes the issues and concerns from the school constituency with current thinking and research-based knowledge about teaching and learning.  The findings that emerge are for the benefit of the school more than to satisfy the requirements of an external accrediting body. The most objective and reliable indication of school effectiveness is how well students are learning. Faith Academy students have consistently scored above the average on standardized achievement tests as well as on other internationally recognized assessments (e.g., AP and IGCSE), and they meet with little or no difficulty in transferring to schools in their home countries.
