Faith Academy values a strong commitment to a school improvement process that keeps student learning and our Christian values at its a core. Supporting these values, Faith Academy currently maintains joint accreditation status with the Western Association of School & Colleges (WASC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Through the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) program, the school is also one of only four institutions in the Philippines which are accredited with UK-based Cambridge International Examinations, as a Cambridge International Ce- ntre. Faith Academy is also one of few schools in Asia and the only school in the Philippines – which has been approved to offer the AP Capstone program.
Faith Academy offers a Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 program, which utilizes a blend of U.S. and international curricula to accommodate the diverse population of children we serve. Our program provides options in Korean Studies, Advanced Placement, and IGCSE. Faith Academy also offers a variety of experiences in the visual arts, performing arts, and practical arts to help provide a well-rounded education.
First semester runs from early August to mid-December. There is a week-long quarter break in October and a longer Christmas break at the end of the term. Second semester begins in January and finishes in late May or early June, again with a week-long quarter break in March. Most Philippine national holidays are followed, but parents are advised to carefully review the calendar for the specific days that have no classes. The school day starts at 7:10am and finishes at 2:30pm, with extra-curricular activities scheduled from 2:40-4:25pm. There is an early dismissal each Tuesday for staff meetings and training.
