Come home to Faith

For over 60 years, Faith Academy has existed through ministry partnerships.

All of our missionary staff continue to trust God for their salary and other needs. And to-date, most of our students are from missionary and local ministry families who likewise trust God for their school fees and other expenses. By God’s grace, He provides through the faithful prayer and giving of ministry partners.

Due to the uniqueness of our ministry, and as paradigms and practices for cross-cultural missions have changed through the years we have found it necessary to increase our capacity in assisting in the financial needs of our missionary staff and students.

This November – December 2021, we call on your hearts to give to God’s work in our community and campus. To #comehometofaith in prayers and financial giving to help make Faith academy a home — a mission field to support-raising staff, and learning environment for mostly missionary children — for more generations to come.

The global pandemic may have changed us in many ways, but we still have the same mission as a school. We still want to point our students to Christ. We still want to be examples of God’s transformational power to our students. And we still want our students to passionately know, trust, and obey God in whatever and wherever He calls them to.

As we strive to provide an excellent education and bring God glory through our school, our mission becomes our motivation. Along with these comes hard work and faith — work that requires resources, plus faith that is secured in God’s purpose and provision.

God has graciously provided for us throughout the history of Faith Academy and we now invite you to participate in this legacy and ministry. And for those who have been supporting our campus and community, we encourage you to continue in faith.

As we partner together through changing times, may God continue to bless what He started in 1957.

We thank God for all of you who have made Faith Academy your home. Whether you attended Faith on V. Mapa Street or on our hilltop campus in Cainta. Whether you lived in the dorms or took the bus or a van to get to school, spent just a couple of years in elementary school or were a K-12 MK, joined Faith for your junior and senior year or served on staff, Faith Academy was your home at one time in your life.

Would you reflect on your time here and thank the Lord with us for what He has done with this ministry now for over 60 years? And would you please pray with us that this ministry will continue to be blessed by the Lord until He returns?

Lastly, as you consider what you are thankful for this time of year, would you please include Faith Academy in your prayers and financial stewardship? We have missionary staff, students, and families who are in great need of encouragement. Your prayers and financial gifts will help them press on for the Lord!

Queenie Tan

Registrar

Having served as the school Registrar since 2016 up to the present, I have seen how enrolling in Faith Academy meaningfully impacts the lives of missionary and local ministry families. We have an average of 20 nationalities, connected with over 100 Christian organizations worldwide, as a gift that keeps on giving. Each year, hundreds of missionary and local ministry children receive our holistic Pre-K to 12 education. This contributes to parents’ increased capacity to serve in their respective mission fields. In turn, churches are planted, poor communities are assisted, Bible schools are staffed,  parachurch organizations are led, and the Gospel is preached in the Philippines and across Asia to name a few.

And having enrolled my own children in Faith Academy, knowing they will also receive spiritual formation in the school,  my own spiritual journey was also enriched by being part of a Christ-centered, caring, and multicultural community. Therefore it is my joy to see how my now-adult children continue to walk and grow in their faith. I believe their years in this school greatly influenced them to serve the Lord in whatever He calls them into.

May you prayerfully consider helping extend this opportunity to more generations of missionary and local ministry families. I pray we will continue to be equipped to take in and retain students, even through challenging and changing times.

God has indeed been faithful to establish and sustain our school. Aside from the beautiful campus that we’ve been blessed with to develop through the years, He has been sending us missionaries –  who raise their own financial support, who call Faith Academy as their home, and who continue our legacy of developing Christlike lifelong learners. This has been made possible through missions agencies, local churches, and many individual ministry partners who have helped to provide for our staffing needs.

We believe God will do this for us every school year, despite the changing face of worldwide missions and the growing challenges for cross-cultural ministries. Many of our staff face the added pressures of their rising educational costs and the new global health concerns.

Would you prayerfully consider helping us in this area? Can you help get our staff here to serve with us? Would you help send more missionaries so the Gospel can be preached and the kingdom of God advanced?
