Faith Academy (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates https://faith.edu.ph. This document informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from use of our website as well as personal information collected by other means. By using our website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

While using our Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personal information that can be used to contact or identify you. This includes but is not limited to the following:

Basic personal information such as full name, nickname, physical address, e-mail address, telephone and mobile numbers, and username and password;
Sensitive personal information such as age, birthdate, nationality, gender, and occupation; and,
Other sensitive personal information and records such as, but not limited to, the following: photo, educational background (i.e. transcripts, letters of recommendation from previous schools), employment records, mission organizations details and records, church affiliation information, medical records, family background, spouses and children’s names, financial details, valid identification cards and licenses, salary, basic pay, statutory obligations such as HDMF or Pag-IBIG, SSS, PhilHealth and withholding tax, and other benefits.

Except in limited circumstances, noted below, we do not and are not allowed to share your personal data with third parties. By using our website or attending our school, you are giving your consent, to authorize Faith Academy to disclose your personal data to accredited/affiliated third parties or independent/non-affiliated third parties, whether local or foreign in any of the following circumstances or to the following bodies:

The use or disclosure is reasonably necessary, required or authorized by or under law (such as for criminal investigation, as requested by court of law);

Any personal data that you provide on our website is initially processed and stored by Faith Academy. Using a secured connection, only authorized Faith Academy personnel can then access and download your personal data from faith.edu.ph.

Faith Academy reserves the right to retain your personal data whether in our files located in the Philippines or in cloud servers, or in certain circumstances such as when your personal data may be necessary to resolve disputes, or if Faith Academy is required to do so by law or in the good faith; provided that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation and/or protect and defend the rights or property of Faith Academy. If Faith Academy is required to retain any portion of your personal data for such purposes, it shall use reasonable efforts to limit such data to what is necessary to accomplish the particular purpose.

NonDiscrimination NOtice

Faith Academy provides staff, employees, and students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to members of the school community. Faith Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its employment practices, educational guidelines, admissions policies, tuition assistance programs and athletic and other school-administered activities.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy is effective as of March 1, 2018 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.

We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
