Boys & Girls Volleyball

The volleyball season is a 1st season sport at Faith Academy, running from the beginning of the school year to the end of October. The girls and boys varsity team travels to the ACSC tournament overseas during the 3rd week of October except the year that we’re hosting

Selection Process

Volleyball is open to all students in 9th-12th grade. Tryouts are typically held in the first week of the school year and usually last about 3 days.  Occasionally accommodations are made for students arriving late to the school year. Varsity and junior varsity teams usually consist of about 10 players.

Expectations of Participants

Volleyball team members are expected to attend all practices and games. Players are also expected to maintain their eligibility in academics.

Non-Negotiable for Participants

Volleyball team members can not participate in large drama or musical productions during the season.

Challenges/Sacrifices/Time Commitments

Practices are 4 days a week from 2:30-4:30 pm. There are 1-3 games per week. Most games take place on Fridays and Saturdays.
