Chaplain

The Middle School & High School Chaplain seeks to glorify God in all things making worship our highest goal. To know God vs merely knowing about God. To inspire among students intimate relationships with Jesus Christ. To model Christ’s use of discipleship.

To glorify God in all things, tangible and intangible, making worship our highest goal. (Rom. 12:1)

To establish and nurture spiritual vitality through experiential understanding of God; knowing God vs. merely knowing about God. (Col. 1:9)

To inspire among students intimate relationships with Jesus Christ through regeneration, personal and corporate communion with Him (in prayer and Bible study), and expressions of that association to others, appropriate to their position in Christ. This ensures the focus to be on the person of Jesus Christ, rather than mode, method, mechanics, program, or policy. (Col. 1: 10-14)

To model Christ’s use of discipleship (investing of time and self) as the primary method of accomplishing the above goals. (Mar 3: 13-15)

To identify and address the distinctive attributes of the Faith Academy community as they relate to the above objectives.
