Ministry Coordinator

The primary role of the Ministry Coordinator is to disciple and empower our students to impact the world around them for the Gospel. This supports the first of our four core values; Great Commission Partnership. The focus of the Ministry Coordinator is to ensure that Faith Academy is intentional about teaching our students to be mission-minded and modeling this for them. While mostly working with high school students, the job may entail work with the MSD and/or the ESD. The job is not just restricted to students alone as it includes aspects of coordinating staff and service to the community around Faith Academy.

Essential Duties of the job

HSD Service Coordinator
- track and communicate completion of semester service requirements
- develop broader options for student service
- assist Executive Committee and HSD Chaplain in planning Ministry Day
HSD Ministry Trip: Plan and take a group of HSD students on a ministry trip during a school break
Offer assistance to the principals of the three divisions with any ministry events they are conducting

Additional responsibilities

Job specifications

A bachelor’s degree or ministry training
A passion for sharing the skills and importance of ministry work with young people
Demonstrate the ability to communicate with and train both adults and children
Organizational and record-keeping skills
Ability to relate to both nationals and expatriates
Ability to show initiative and good judgment when responding to situations of need
A love for people
Experience with leading outreach/ministry teams
