Stewardship Coordinator

The Stewardship Coordinator reports directly to and works closely with the Director for Advancement, and works indirectly with the Head of School and Board of Trustees, to oversee and manage all aspects of Faith Academy’s Biblical Stewardship endeavors.

Essential Duties of the job

The primary function of Stewardship Coordinator is to generate prayer and financial support for the school by:

  • Establishing and nurturing vibrant relationships with its constituency (local and worldwide alumni, former staff, and mission-minded individuals and organizations)
  • Promoting a broad foundation of prayer support among its constituency
  • Communicating the school’s financial needs to its constituency
  • Developing strategies to encourage new and increased giving, while prayerfully maintaining healthy relationships with existing Ministry Partners
  • Overseeing the Faith Academy Ambassadors program (local and overseas Faith volunteers assisting with Advancement and HR)
  • Directing Stewardship and Promotional annual and end-of-year campaigns
  • Working collaboratively and creatively with Faith Communications in all campaigns
  • Documenting and reporting gift receipts and acknowledgements utilizing our CRM database

Additional responsibilities

  • As the school’s representative in Biblical Stewardship, the Stewardship Coordinator is responsible to bring honor and glory to God at all times; in matters of representation and transaction they should present the school’s Christian witness and educational goals with a singleness of mind. This should be managed with both joy and vision as given by the Lord.
  • The school’s relationship with its constituency, and the prayer and financial support gained from it, must always be protected and nurtured. It is the Lord who moves His people to pray and give; therefore all manner of relationship development must glorify Him.

  • Demonstrates leadership, embodies the Faith Academy mission, and exemplifies a collaborative, decisive, motivating, and engaging communication style
  • Displays strong, strategic thinking and can initiate as well as implement ideas
  • Exhibits problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Able to work both independently without close oversight, as well as part of a team who will productively engage with others at varying levels of seniority within and outside of Faith Academy
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential matters with appropriate discretion
  • Commitment to excellence
  • Biblical Stewardship professional experience is preferred
